Who We Are:
Elizabeth Donovan, M.A., founder of ParentingPink.com, is a former adolescent psychotherapist and mental health supervisor with over a decade of experience. She has three daughters and resides just outside of Washington D.C.
The Parenting Pink Team consists of parents, professionals, and experts who are dedicated to providing support, answers, and the means to give your daughter the best foundation possible. From the sandbox to prom, our goal is to provide you with the tools you’ll need to deal with ”whatever your daughter’s into” as she moves through the most important stages of her life.
Our Parenting Philosophy:
“It takes a village…to raise girls!” Parenting girls in today’s hectic, fast-paced, high-tech environment can be challenging, and a bit scary. By sharing parenting tips, strategies, advice, and support, we become better parents – and our daughters grow up to become better women.
Why Parenting Pink is Unique:
Parenting Pink specializes in what we like to call “girl-based” parenting. As you know, raising girls brings with it unique challenges, issues, and joys. This is a place where you can share and receive parenting tips, information or just chat with other “pink” parents in our forum. So grab your latte and let’s talk!
Why You Make Us Special:
At Parenting Pink, we rely on the wisdom of parental insight, inspiration, education, and humor. Articles published on this site are written for parents by parents. After all, who knows better than moms and dads what works and what doesn’t? Give us the scoop on how you’ve raised your daughter through triumphs and failures, tears and laughter, anger and happiness. By sharing your experiences, you can reach out to other parents while also providing valuable resources for the entire Parenting Pink community.
Your Opinion Counts:
This site is a reflection of its Members, and ParentingPink.com is eager for your feedback. Feel free to contact us and let us know your likes and dislikes. Likewise, if there are specific articles or contests that you would like to see posted, please let us know.
And finally, thank you for taking the time to read about us and peruse our site. We look forward to reading your articles and parenting tips. Thank you for your submissions and keep ‘em coming! Remember, we’re all in this together!
All the Best,
The Parenting Pink Team
