February is I Love to Read Month. Box Tops for Education (BTFE) has some great ideas for parents, so you can share the joy of reading with your daughters!
America’s schools have earned more than $300 million through Box Tops for Education since the program started in 1996. Thousands of schools have used that cash to purchase items such as computers, library books, art supplies, and playground equipment. Schools can earn up to $60,000 per year, to spend on anything they choose, by clipping Box Tops coupons from hundreds of products and shopping online through the Box Tops Marketplace and Reading Room.
At the BTFE Reading Room, you can shop Barnes & Noble books and earn cash back for your school while doing so! During the month of February the percentage donated back to your school is 6%! In addition, for all orders over $40, you will earn an extra 10 Bonus Box Tops; for orders over $60, you will earn an extra 25 Bonus Box Tops. BTFE features girls favorites on the site so you can get that reading list started.
Also, celebrate your daughters’ teachers, who encourage your child to read every month of the year! You can help support your daughters education by seeing if her teachers have set up classroom registries on My Class Essentials to get them the items they need in their classrooms. If your child’s teacher doesn’t have a registry, just hop on over to our site where you can email your teacher with information about the program.
With Box Tops for Education, everyone – kids, parents, teachers and schools – can benefit from this year’s I Love to Read Month. To learn more about the program, visit www.boxtops4education.com.
